This is a little old, but my poor boy was sick with the flu. He looked like he had been hit by a truck. It only lasted 24 hours and he was feeling much better. The part of motherhood I hate the most is sick kids.

Yes Kate, it seems funny that as mothers we run full speed through the day with a multitude of "tasks" planned out before us~~~~ then our precious little ones (that we were scolding the day before) get sick and we come to a screeching halt in everything and anything we are doing and worry and suffer with them until --- they are finally well again! That is when relief washes over us and we learn to smile at the little silly things they do throughout the day -- perhaps rather than scolding them because of all the little silly things they do.
Lessons learned while being a mother :)

Although I hate it when my kids are sick, I love looking back at the pictures! They look so innocent and upset. It reminds me of how much I love them!! I'm glad he's doing better!
But aren't they just 10 times cuter when they're sick?? AND 20 times quieter!
