This is where my dad sat the whole time. After the first day his feet got so burned that the rest of the time he was completely protected.

OH, I want to go to San Diego and lounge on the beach. Too bad about the crazy hotel situation.
Your dad looks pretty cozy under that umbrella... but I didn't see the Big Gulp, so maybe that's not him.
