more Newport

We stayed in a cottage at the Newport Dunes. It was beautiful. We went prepared for a "beach vacation" but it was a little chilly so one day we played at the beach and then went to Balboa Island. We rode the ferris wheel, the merry go round and enjoyed a frozen banana with chocolate and sprinkles. The kids thought it was great that we got to drive our car right onto a ferry and ride it across. The next day was cold and raining again so we took the kids to Knotts Berry Farm. They rode every ride they could....a few times. The trip was fun, the kids were good, but I think from now on its Disneyland!!!

Texas

I am a little behind in my blogging so I am just going to start with our summer so far. We have been everywhere...A week in the valley for swimming lessons (no pics , sorry), Texas, Newport Dunes, Bradshaw Family Reunion, Cabin and finally home again.

We went to Texas for Jordons borthers wedding. Jordon and I flew out with Kolbie for just a few days. Jordons brother has a lakehouse and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! We got to go out and explore Tyler, TX. We went for rides on the boat and the wedding was amazing. Thanks Chance and Melissa.

GRASS!!!!!

After a lot of hard work.. we finally have beautiful green grass in our backyard. A huge thanks to Jared for helping Jordon lay the sod. You're the best!!!

piano recital

Kinley had her first piano recital in April and she did FANTASTIC!!!!! She played "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Book of Mormon Stories." She had them memorized and she was a little nervous, but we are so proud of her. It's not hard to get Kinley to practice. all I have to say is " If you want to a rockstar, you need to practice piano." works every time. :)
