Look What We Found! Is this a cry for attention?

the first few days

Kinley and Konnor

Kaden finally agreed to hold him and even gave him a kiss.

Kinley and Kaden wanted to read stories to Konnor.

Sadly, Grandma had to leave. We miss her very much. I think Kinley thought she was going to live with us. She even started calling her Grandma D Green. :)

a new tradition

Donuts with candles for breakfast on your birthday.

Kinley with 4 candles. A bittersweet event seeing as all young children must stop sucking their thumbs at 4. (Don't you dare tell her otherwise.)

Kaden enjoying a birthday donut, one of the few foods he doesn't have to be coaxed into eating.

My birthday with 2 and 6 candles. Yep, 26 years old. You know you are getting old when you have to put your candles in one of the rectangular donuts.

Kinley and Kaden's finished products. As you can see, they ate the top halves of their donuts - the part with the frosting. Apparently, plain donut is not even "junk food" enough for our kids. Diabetes here we come.

5 years

Today is our 5 year wedding anniversary. I am married to an amazing man. This is the second anniversary that I have been recovering from having a baby. Jordon was very sweet and took Kinley and Kaden for a few hours so I could rest. I handed him Konnor and said "Happy Anniversary", he said "Do you want me to go buy you some flowers so you know how much I love you?" I said "no, I know you love me." Jordon is my best friend. We were best friends before we were married, we like each other and love each other, we understand each other and trust each other. I love my husband and appreciate everything he does for me and our family. We are lucky and blessed to have him.

my three babies...

Konnor

Kaden

Kinley

Happy Birthday Kinley

Kinley had her 4th birthday on April 12. I was in the hospital because Konnor was born on the 11th. She got 4 candles in a pink donut for breakfast and then they brought her presents to the hospital. She got polly pockets, easylink computer game, "enchanted" and the gisele doll. Dad then took her to get lunch and to the park. I know its not very fair that she didn't get a party but she had a fun day and knows baby Konnors birthday is right by hers. There are so many reasons I love my sweet Kinley. She is a crack up and the most sensitive girl. She has been such a big helper with Konnor and Kaden and is becoming such a big girl. I love you Kinley Kate Green Purple (which she insists is her name because she doesn't like Green, she likes Purple.)

Konnor Mark Green

Well, I was scheduled to be induced at 6:00 am and at 12:30 am my water broke. So my mom, Jordon and I went to the hospital. We got things going and he was born at 5:35 am. The epidural didn't work and he was posterior so it wasn't the most pleasant experience, but we are all healthy and doing great. He was 7 pounds 3 ounces and is just perfect. Thank you so much to everybody who has helped.

The day before....

I know many of you are wondering how big my belly is, so here it is. This is my belly at 39 weeks. I am going in tomorrow at 6:00 am to be induced. I know crazy... after stopping labor twice, I have to be induced. We are very excited and can't wait to see this sweet baby boy. We are making guesses on how much he will weigh. I know my belly is small, but I am a little nervous that he is going to be big. Wish us luck.

Princesses on Ice

A few weeks ago Kinley and I went with some good friends to see Princesses on Ice. The girls loved it. Kinley wore her glowing dress, which was a big hit when they turned out the lights. I love spending time with my big girl. We will have to do lots of fun things like this, since we are about to be out numbered with boys in the family.
