Joy School Graduation

Kinley had Joy School graduation on Memorial Day. It was really cute to see them get diplomas, report cards, and hats. She had a lot of fun this past few months going to joy school. She thinks she is going to school just like Daddy! Thanks to all the other Moms.

Kinley & Taeler

Kinley had Taeler over the other night to play and I heard Kinley say "I love you" and I looked over and they were hugging. So I got a pic then they wanted to make a silly face and say cheese. What fun to have friends so close by!

Mothers Day Celebration!

Liz, Sandee, Christina, Katie S and I decided for Mothers Day we would give ourselves a day to be pampered. We went to the Spa at Nordstroms in downtown San Francisco. I got a pedicure, Liz got a massage, Sandee got a hot rock massage and Christina and Katie got facials. Afterwards we went shopping and had lunch. It was the best day! It is always fun to spend a day with friends! If you ever get the chance, go to Nordstroms and do this. It is well worth the money.

Fathers & Sons

Jordon and Kaden went out to Father and Sons. They didn't spend the night but just hung out until dark. Jordon said it was really cold, but Kaden just roamed around playing with balls. Kinley and I went to the movies to see Shrek 3 and ate popcorn and nachos for dinner.

"Excuse me, do you have a puppy?"

Every Thursday night there is a Farmers Market just a few blocks from our house. They have lots of delicious food, especially fruit. This week, we decided to eat dinner there. The kids were sitting in the stroller, and every time someone walked by, which was quite often, Kinley would say "Excuse me, do you have a puppy?" Most people just smiled and kept walking. Kinley was dead serious though, she really wanted to know who had puppies and who didn't. I think it is time she had a REAL puppy of her own. (as soon as we get a backyard...I promise)

Dedicated

Jordon, Dan and Josh studying VERY EARLY in the morning. OK maybe not that early to some of you, but for me 6 am is early. I didn't wake up until about 6:45 when I heard Kaden and thought to myself "I bet Jordon is trying to study, I better go get Kaden". I come down and all three of the guys are studying and had been for some time. They were being so quiet, I didn't know they were all down there. The things you have to do for dental school....glad it's not me :)

A Full House

Thanks to Southwest Airlines having such cheap flights I got to have my mom, Lindsey, Luanne and Allie come visit for a few days. I think it was the first time my mom has come without having to take care of me or a new baby. We pretty much walked till we dropped. Being from AZ, I am pretty sure they have never done so much walking. We went to the Oakland Temple, Seagull book, antique shops in San Anselmo then to the outlets in Petaluma and finally Ben Franklin all in the first day. The next day we visited Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz. On our way into the city, we ate breakfast at my moms favorite place, Tart to Tart, by where we lived in the city. After the Wharf, we stopped at Ghiradelli Square for a yummy ice cream sundae. We went back into the city to do some shopping at the mall and, of course, Forever 21. On Thursday night we went to the farmer's market here in San Rafael a few streets down from us. Jordon even kept the kids one night so just us girls could go to dinner. It was a busy trip and the kids were troopers. Every time they hit their carseats they were out. Thanks for coming girls.. we miss you already.

Happy Mothers Day!

Some of my favorite mothers: My mom, my sisters Alisa and Lindsey and Jordon's mom Charma. They are wonderful examples to me. They each play an important role in my life. I have learned so many things from them. They are amazing mothers to their children. I am blessed to have such great people in my life. I love you guys! Happy Mothers Day!

Kids will be Kids

As most of you know, Kinley usually has some pretty funny comments. Here are some of her latest and greatest.

1. "This swing is hot... brrrr"

2. In her sleep she said, "I have to tell you something, Grandma is a deco." Deco is a word Jordons family uses for eachother to mean goofball, etc. (Kinley doesn't quite know what it means.)

3. "Mom, Daddy likes to be a dentist. What do you like to be?... Ummm... You like to give me hugs."

4. Kinley is in a phase where she calls us Jordon and Katie. We tell her, "you can call me Mom/Dad." She likes this whole concept so she says, "Mom, you can call me Princess Kinderley."

Kadens new "cheesy" smile

I told Kaden it was time to change his stinky diaper and he made a run for it to hide behind the chair.

He actually reached a muffin. The other morning I came down and Kaden was eating a cookie. I asked Jordon why he let him have a cookie for breakfast and he said that Kaden got himself. Great...

Top Ten for April

10. Going home to AZ, even though it was for my Grandpas funeral. I got to see almost ALL of my cousins.

9. Kinley turned 3 and had a fun birthday. We went to Toys R Us and Kinley was a little overwhelmed so I picked out a dollhouse and some barbies.

8. Kinley: Mom, I want to get married.
Mom: You can get married when you are older.
Kinley: I am going to marry Taeler.
Mom: You are going to marry a boy.
Kinley: Not Kaden.

7. Kaden learned to say "cheese" "mooooo" and "quack quack"

6. For my birthday Jordon and I got to go out for a really nice dinner. Thanks to Chelsea for watching our kids.

5. Kaden broke out in the most horrible rash. I freaked out and took him to the night clinic office. They said it was probably just a virus. It was gone the next day and he was fine. Good thing, I think it bothered me more than it did him.

4. Jordon and I finally had a Saturday to spend together. We took the kids and went dowtown. We ate lunch at the amazing food court in the mall, went shopping (hit an AMAZING sale) and took the kids on the Merry-Go-Round.

3. Some friends and I got to go out and see a movie. It wasn't a very good movie, but it was still fun.

2. Our 4 year anniversary. Jordon brought me beautiful pink flowers and a bag of chocolates.

1. SOUTHWEST DING $25 FLIGHTS!!! My mom, my sisters and sisters in law are coming to visit due to such cheap flight. Thanks southwest.
